Fay Promutico Obituary

Fay Promutico, 93, of Reading, passed away on October 27, 2021 at The Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Daniel J. Promutico. Together they celebrated 41 years of marriage.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Bess (Gochenaur) Fredrick.

Fay was a member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church. She will be remembered for the perfection she put into everything, most notably her art, cooking, baking, and sewing.

She was predeceased by her grandson: Daniel J. Pennock.

She is survived by her children: Enrico Promutico, husband of Christine of Alsace Twp., Antoinette M. Pennock, widow of Russell of Robesonia, Lisa A. Palmieri, wife of John of Reading, and Dino M. Promutico, husband of Angélica of Tampa, FL. Also surviving are grandchildren: Dario Pennock, husband of Jennifer of Robesonia, Emily Promutico of Colorado Springs, Francesca Palmieri of Reading, and Nicole LeVan of Sinking Spring; great-grandchildren: Reese and Landon Rubida; brother: Barry Dissinger, husband of Bonnie of Lancaster; great-niece: Danielle Fowler whom she considered her 3rd daughter;  many nieces and nephews; and canine companions: Zoey and Princess.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
