Shawn Kauffman Obituary Shawn M. Kauffman, 43, of Laureldale, passed away on February 27, 2023 after a short illness at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Reading, he was the son of Kenneth A. Kauffman and the late Brenda M. (Cieri) Kauffman. Shawn was a 1998 Graduate of Reading High School. He went on to work as a Paramedic, working in the Philadelphia area for 10 years. In recent years he worked as a Paramedic for Pennsylvania Ambulance of Scranton. Shawn was last employed at CSL Plasma in Muhlenberg. Being a Paramedic was Shawns true love and passion and will be remembered for his skills and talent. In addition to his father, Kenneth A. Kauffman, he is also survived by his brother: Bryan C. Kauffman of Scanton and friend: Beverly A. Jacobs. Funeral Services will be held at Bednar Funeral Home, 2910 Pricetown Road, Reading, on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 12:00PM. The family will receive friends and relatives from 11-12:00PM. The interment will follow the service at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
