Obituary

Sharon F. Geltz, 74, of Bern Twp., passed away on November 21, 2025 at Berks Heim.

She was the wife of Ralph A. Geltz. Together they celebrated 54 years of marriage.

Sharon was the daughter of the late Leon Shirey and Florence (Marino) Markley.

Sharon was a 1968 graduate of Holy Name High School. She went on to be employed at Godiva Chocolate where she worked as a Packer, Line Leader, and Office Worker. She was a member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church.

She was predeceased by her brother: Joseph N. DeAngelo.

In addition to her husband: Ralph A. Geltz, she is survived by her children: Sean Geltz and Eric Geltz. Also surviving is Deborah Bower, who was like a daughter to her, grandchildren: Nicole, Sean Jr, Hayli, Gabriel, Sofia, and great granddaughter: Rayna.

A Prayer Service will be held at Bednar Funeral Home, 2910 Pricetown Road, Reading (Alsace Twp.) on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 10:30AM. The family will receive friends and relatives from 9-10:30AM. The Interment will follow the service at Gethsemane Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
