Paul Olson Obituary Paul R. Olson, 96, of Wyomissing, formerly of Branford, CT, passed away on April 9, 2022 at The Reading Hospital. Born in Troy, NY, he was the son of the late Bror and Hulda (Wennburg) Olson. Paul was a 1944 graduate of Shillington High School, graduating with honors as Valedictorian. He went on to serve his county in the US Army during World War II, where he received a purple heart. Upon returning from war, Paul attended Rider College. He went on to work for Warnaco of Brideport, CT where he retired as the Chief Financial Officer. Paul lived a long and active life. He enjoyed sailing in the Long Island Sound, skiing on Okemo Mt, and swimming in Megans Bay, St Thomas. He will be deeply missed. He was predeceased by his brother: Harold Olson, Husband of the late Lilla (Breitenstein) Olson. He is survived by his nephews: Robert A. Olson, husband of Sally of Mohnton, PA. and Harold J. Olson, husband of Susan of Rehoboth, DE. Also surviving are 2 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews. Services will be at the convenience of the family.
