Mohammad Sadiq

Mohammad Sadiq, 76, of Leesport, passed away on June 19, 2026 at his residence.

He was the husband of Kishwar Zaidi. Together, they celebrated 32 years of marriage.

Born in Karachi, Pakistan, he was the son of Mohammad Saghir and Amna Begum. Mohammad was the owner and proprietor of Aashiyana Fine Indian Cuisine. Sid, as he was known to his friends, was an intelligent, compassionate, sincere, & hardworking man. Deeply curious about the world around him and those he met, Mohammad enjoyed studying and discussing science, geopolitics, and history. Mohammad will be remembered for his creativity, charisma, great sense of humor, and his deep commitment & love for his family.

In addition to his wife: Kishwar Zaidi, he is survived by his children: Fouzia Fareed of London, Faisal Sadiq of Karachi, Shafaq S. DiRenzo of Wyomissing, Sarmed M. Sadiq of Leesport, and Soubha S. Sadiq of Leesport. In addition, Mohammad leaves many loving family members & relatives in Pakistan, as well as throughout the United Kingdom: his sisters Arshi Begum, Ishra Begum, and Azra Begum, his brothers Mohammad Sabir, Mohammad Iqbal, and Mohammad Asghar.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026 at The Islamic Center of Reading, 18 S. Noble St., Reading, PA 19611 at 12:00PM. The interment will follow the service at Laureldale Cemetery.
