Gerald Schaeffer Obituary Gerald D. Schaeffer, 80, of Alsace Twp, passed away after a short illness on December 6, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Theresa M. (Folk) Schaeffer. Together they celebrated 56 years of marriage. Born in Richmond Twp, he was the son of the late Daniel and Pearl (Fink) Schaeffer. Gerald was a graduate of Penn State University. He went on to work as a Civil Engineer, owning and operating Samuel Perrotto & Company for 27 years. He was an avid Penn State fan, and enjoyed golf and German Shorthair Pointers. He also loved camping and traveling, especially to Canada to experience seeing Polar Bears. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Jennifer A. Schaeffer, wife of Alexander Bier of Blacksburg, VA and Daniel A. Schaeffer, husband of Sarah of Fleetwood. Also surviving is a grandson: Samuel H. Schaeffer and a brother: Terry Lee Schaeffer, husband of Connie of Palmyra, New Jersey. Funeral services were private and held at the convenience of the family.
