Francis Bodner Obituary Francis L. Bodner, 88, of Spring Twp., passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 3, 2021. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Stephan and Anna (Nisky) Bodnar. He was the husband of the late Rose E. Bodner. Together they celebrated 64 years of marriage. Frank was employed as an electrical engineer for Bell Labs for 30 years. He was a member of St. John Baptist de LaSalle R.C. Church of Shillington. Frank will be remembered for his great love of traveling, collecting stamps, photography, and driving BMWs. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by 12 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughters: Donna R. Spaar, wife of Stephen of Reading, Mildredann E. Bodner Nawa, wife of John of Wyomissing, and Lorraine A. Cunningham, wife of William of Wyomissing. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren: Michael, Kaitlyn, Alexander, Nicholas, Alaina, Samuel, Ryan, Liam, and Maddigan. A Prayer Service will be held at Bednar Funeral Home, 2910 Pricetown Road, Temple, on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 6:00PM. The family will receive friends and family from 5:00-6:00PM. Interment will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 11:00AM at St. Stephens R.C. Church Cemetery in McAdoo. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to JDRF, PO Box 379720, Boone, IA 50037.
