Ethan E. Brooks

Ethan E. Brooks, 65, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away on April 5, 2026 at Penn State Health St. Joseph.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Arthur L. and Edith E. (Hauser) Brooks.

Ethan was a 1980 Graduate of Oley Valley High School. He went on to be self-employed, working as a recycler and operated a Landscaping and Mowing Service. For many years, he was the Mascot for Central Catholic High School. Ethan loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed fishing trips with his brother Arthur.

He is survived by his daughter: Tara L. Morrison, wife of Roderick of Oley, grandchildren: Briana, Roderick, and Alivia Morrison. Also surviving are his brothers: Arthur L. Brooks, husband of Anita of Central Square, NY and Stuart A. Brooks, husband of Teresa of Fleetwood; Nephews: Chad, Ian and Joshua Brooks and a niece: Alyssa Brooks.

Funeral Services will be held at Bednar Funeral Home, 2910 Pricetown Road, Reading (Alsace Twp.), on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 11:00AM. The Family will receive friends and relatives from 10-11:00AM. The interment will follow the service at Spies Zion Cemetery.
