David G. Krott, 70, of Alsace Twp., passed away on July 20, 2025 at his residence.

He was the husband of Dora A. (Rothermel) Krott. Together they celebrated 37 years of marriage.

Born in Portsmouth, NH, he was the son of Gerald D. Krott and late Jeanette (Breton) Hinnershitz

David was a US Army Veteran, proudly serving his country as a Helicopter Crew Chief during peacetime. He went on to be employed as the Supervisor for Alsace Township. In later years, David was employed as a PA State Constable and as a Contractor and Proprietor of Krott Construction. He was a member of St. John's Lodge No. 435 Free & Accepted Masons, where he was a 3rd Degree Master Mason.

In addition to his Wife: Dora A. Krott, he is survived by his children: Dennis A. Staples, Gerald D. Krott, Kayla J. (Krott) Gonzalez, and Miranda R. Krott. Also surviving are his brothers: Keith Krott and Wayne Krott, Sisters: Donna Burns and Connie Salaneck, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

It was David's request that his body be donated for research to the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA.

A Memorial Service will be held at Bednar Funeral Home, 2910 Pricetown Road, Reading, (Alsace Twp.) on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 11:00AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Colon Cancer Foundation or Children's Dyslexia Centers, a Charity of Scottish Rite Freemasonry.
