Catherine Hunter Obituary Catherine Hunter, 78, of Milford, DE, passed away July 28, 2022 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Born in Port Penn, DE, She was the daughter of the late Samuel Tharp and Bessie (Price) Tharp. She was preceeded in death by sisters: Helen Wright and Sharon Latteman, brothers: Richard Tharp, Michael Tharp and David Tharp, and grandson Nickolas Gearhart. She is survived by daughter Veronica Kopelen, son in law Chester of Milford, Derron Gearhart, daughter in law Krissy, of Dover, step children Tina Gustafson of Harrington, Linda Hunter of Smyrna and James F Hunter of Smyrna, sister Bonnie Burris of Townsend , and brother Samuel Tharp of Smyrna. Grandchildren Josh Kopelen, Brittany Humbertson, Cody Gearhart, Dylan Gearhart, Mckenzie Gearhart, Emma Gearhart, Duston Hunter, Steven Hunter, Kyle Boyce, Chayton Miller, and Holden Hunter. Many great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews and extended family. She loved camping, traveling, being with family! Enjoying everything from reading, doing cross words, crafting, home cooking, to long conversations! She will be dearly missed!
