Albert S. Staudt, Jr.

Albert S. Staudt, Jr, of Reading, passed away on April 13, 2026 at Laureldale Nursing and Rehab.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Albert S. Staudt, Sr. and Hazel (O’Hara) Staudt.

Albert was a graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School. He was employed as the Dog Show Supervisor at Rau Dog Shows of West Reading. He was the President of the Berks County Kennel Club and Vice-President of Eastern Stewards Club. A devoted dog lover, he took great pride in his abilities and was well known for breeding Scottish Terriers.

He was predeceased by his Partner: Jack Frederick, Sisters: Catherine Hagmeyer and Penny Staudt and brother: Donald Staudt.

He is survived by his brother: Barry L. Staudt, husband of Julie of Alsace Twp.

A graveside service will be held at Bern Church Cemetery on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11:00AM.
