Joyce Ann Kozlowski

Joyce Ann Kozlowski, 82, of Laureldale, passed away on October 8, 2023 at The Reading Hospital.

She was the spouse of Joseph A. Kozlowski. Together they celebrated 63 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Clara (John) Bernstel.

Joyce was a 1958 graduate of Muhlenberg High School. She went on to be employed as a Secretary at American Casualty for several years. In later years she was employed as the manager of Apollo Pools of 5th Steet and was last employed as a Secretary at Prospectus Berco. Joyce was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Parish, where she was a member of The Women’s Club. She served as the President for many years, organizing and running day trips to many destinations, including Casinos and Theatres. Joyce will be remembered for the many loves in her life which included bowling, knitting, crocheting, bingo, weekly trips to casinos, and playing dominos with friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Joseph J. Kozlowski, husband of Jody of Sinking Spring and Joyce L. Tierney, wife of Jeff of Sinking Spring. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Jeffrey Tierney, Jared Tierney, and Jillian Kozlowski, a sister: Darlene Litwin, and multiple nieces and nephews.

A Prayer Service will be held at Bednar Funeral Home, 2910 Pricetown Road, Temple, on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 10:30AM. The family will receive friends and relatives from 9:30-10:30AM.
